What is the shelf life of a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo?

It depends on how it is stored. If there is not excessive moisture, then bar soap will last a very long time, but may dry out to a chalky consistancy.

If it is very warm, the soap can melt. Melt it and re-harden it enough and the quality will suffer.

If it is very cold, and the soap is moist it can shatter, but the broken bits are still good soap.

Likewise, liquid soap can dry out unless completely sealed. If the seal is unbroken,

In all, barring extreme conditions, soap will last at least as long as the house it is in.What is the shelf life of a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo?
50 million years or until it's opened.

just kidding, soap in bars, will not go bad, liquid soap if left long enough, will get thicker due to it's losing moisture, but is still usable. What is the shelf life of a bar of soap and a bottle of shampoo?
ooo about 5000 yrs

good luck
