On a shampoo bottle it says to rinse and repeat? Does anyone actually repeat?

they just tell you to repeat so that you'll use more shampoo and have to buy more. IT'S A CONSPIRICY!!!!!On a shampoo bottle it says to rinse and repeat? Does anyone actually repeat?
Once in a while.. only because I have used heavy hairspray.. and after rinsing my hair didn't feel like the texture it usually does when I am ready to add conditioner.

Instead of slick and clean I get a gooey sensation of ';NOT CLEAN ENOUGH';... so I do it again to make sure... but other than that... NEVER.. I know when my hair feels clean.. who cares what the bottle says?On a shampoo bottle it says to rinse and repeat? Does anyone actually repeat?
sometimes, depends on shampoo
NEVER!!! hahaha

its just a bunch of crap to get you to buy more shamppoo!!
I repeat, even if the bottle doesn't say so.
I repeat. If I don't, my hair feels thick and heavy. The first time, loosenes it up, the second hauls it away.
Not with shampoo but I do with conditioner
I don't think you should actually--even though it says it on the bottle. The reason is that washing your hair tends to strip good things out of your hair. The less you wash your hair (and I don't mean go weeks with out doing it) the better actually. Your dirty hair (a day or two with out being washed) actually holds a hair style better than freshly cleaned hair. Ask a beautician!
no

its just so u can use it up faster and buy more of there product.
I do. But only because my mother taught me that way and it's a habit now.

I'm usually still asleep in the shower and I catch myself repeating. I have a lot of hair so, of course, I need to buy shampoo often. I end up buying grocery store brand...This may be the reason why my hair is so damaged and grows so slowly.
in a way

every day if you wash your hair you do
you can if you want to, most bottles say repeat if desired, so whan my hair is really dirty, i do repeat
About 12 years ago I took a 10-day winter wilderness survival course. I had long curly hair back then.

I can honestly say that after a week of camouflage in the woods and daily living with nature - I did repeat.

These days I wear my hair short - so no, I don't need as much shampoo - even when I go on long camping trips.
not unless it does not lather the first time in which case would indicate it may need washed a second time.
i don't follow the instructions on the bottle, do what suits you and your hair.
if you use alot of product, or if you hav oily hair its a good idea. sometimes you can just tell its not clean enough. but be careful, overwashing will rob your hair of essential oils.
yeah what frog said ...how dirty could your hair be that the fist washing couldnt clean it'????
no one does
Honestly, it all depends on the type of hair and scalp you have.

1. Thick hair(oily or not) you should always repeat the shampoo part, and condition with a light conditioner(mainly on the ends). This is because sometimes a lot of people don't put in the effort of shampooing thick hair, (well because it's so thick)BUT if the oils and sweat and product is not compleatly washed out of the hair, you hair will tend to take on a musty smell(mainly the inside, not the hair exposed to the air)So shampooing twice would make a big difference. Also remeber that thicker hair takes longer rinsing to make sure all the sham%26amp; cond is compleatly out.

2. Regular hair-oily- still shampoo twice, this makes sure all that oil and sweat is out, then condition with a detangaling solution or light coditioner....u don't need extra oils since you hair is all ready oily (maybe a leave in spray for you ends if they are dry)

3.Regular hair -not oily- I would suggest shampooing twice only if you don't get a good lather going the first time...but be sure to give your head a good scrub before conditioning (Oh yea this is for all you lucky people that have healthy, virgin hair :-) )

4. Limp/fine/thinning hair-- Use a volumizing shampoo, and shampoo twice to make sure you remove all the oils(you don't need those weighing down your hair anymore) and use a very light conditioner or detangling solution.

Hope that helps a little, since i didn't know what hair type you had...?!
no, i dont repeat!

since u asked this question it makes u sound like u wash your hair 20 times a day!
i never have, i dont think too many people do actually
when i was in cosmetology school i was told its not necessary unless you have an oily scalp. so do what suits your hair
