What's the major difference between a bottle of .99 Suave shampoo and a several dollar bottle of Pantene?

if u have good hair it doesnt really matter what u useWhat's the major difference between a bottle of .99 Suave shampoo and a several dollar bottle of Pantene?
I discovered Suave Professionals a couple of years ago, and haven't tried anything since. I use the ';humectant'; which is supposed to be like ';Humectress';. The conditioner is perfect for my hair, no tangles, no frizzies, and oh so smooth. The shampoo hasn't left a build up at all either. The cost is in my price range too...usually around 1.50-2.00 a bottle. It doesn't take much and lasts. I will never buy Pantene or any of the other expensive brands unless they quit making mine. PS it has an awesome coconut smell that lasts forever...always getting compliments on how nice I smell...just because of my hair!!

Good luck! ;)What's the major difference between a bottle of .99 Suave shampoo and a several dollar bottle of Pantene?
Don't know i just use the bar of soap in the shower.
my mom says when she uses suave more white hairs grow. When I use suave my hair becomes more dry+raspy.
sauve is alot more drying to the hair. its true, ask any hair stylist. personally i like that sauve has so many different smelling products, they all smell really good. however, i dont feel that sauve conditions my hair at all. pantene is basically the only conditioner ive tried, and ive tried ALOT, that really makes my hair soft. even more expensive brands like biosilk and redkin dont work as well. so thats my opinion.
I think Suave is more like soap. It cleans your hair but it does it too well, strips it of its natural oils and doesn't provide any nutrients or hydration. I am a swimmer with very long hair and my hair was getting so damaged from the pool. Somehow my stylist convinced me to buy this 30 dollar bottle of shampoo that would rehydrate and repair my poor hair. As soon as I got home I just wanted to return it but I used it and it is so worth the money. My hair is so much healthier, softer and shinier. Also it is super concentrated and I only have to use a few drops. I have the same bottle (only a10 oz bottle!) that I bought in September and it will probably last me until at least this September. $30 a bottle sounds bad but $30 a year doesn't sound that bad. If I had shorter hair I would use something less expensive because it wouldn't need as much nourishment and could replenish its own natural oils more quickly.
