I think it is not a good idea because it will waste... WATER.
Do you have a way to remove the bubbles from old bottles? How do I remove bubbles from use shampoo/detergent bottles?
Leave the cap off the bottle, then tip it upside down so it will empty, and let it drain for a few hours. This should get rid of most of the contents so that it will be quicker to flush with water. How do I remove bubbles from use shampoo/detergent bottles?
When you get towards the end of your shampoo or detergent, start watering down the bottle then and you can still use the product. This makes it easier to clean.
I would fill the bottles with water and add a teaspoon full of soda. Let it sit for 24 hours and fill it back up and see if it bubbles. Try it.
I use soda. It is effective.
Let it dry, and then use a hair dryer.
I used to do it, for making mentos and Cola rockets, but my stupid older sister keeps throwing them in the trash.
rinse w/white vinegar
